Your CPAP therapy history, one night at a time

History is where every night you have spent on CPAP lives. It lays out your CPAP therapy history as a calendar colored by AHI, keeps your streaks and milestones, marks what changed and when, and opens any night in one tap.

What it is

The dashboard answers "how was last night?". Trends answers "which way is it heading?". History answers "what happened, and when?". It is a record you can scan in seconds, filter by mask or machine, and use to find the night your numbers moved.

It is built from your SD card imports; upload again and only new nights are added.

02

The calendar heatmap

Each square is a night. Its color shows the AHI band for that night: Great, Mild, Moderate or High. Nights without therapy are left blank, and short nights under 4 hours carry a small marker so a good AHI on a 90-minute night does not pass for a good night. Each square also has a text label for screen readers and for anyone who does not want to rely on color.

Scroll back a year or zoom to a month. Patterns that hide in a list show up here: a run of Moderate nights after a cold, or the month a mask started to fail.

03

Streaks and milestones

History counts your current streak and your best streak of nights with 4 hours or more of use. A missed night resets the current streak; the best one stays on record.

Milestones mark the moments that matter in early therapy and beyond:

  • First week on therapy
  • First 30 compliant nights
  • 90-day compliance window reached (the same check as the compliance calculator)
  • 100 nights
  • One year

Each one appears quietly in the milestone row with its date. There are no pop-ups; it is a record, not a game.

04

What changed? timeline

Settings changes read from your card, such as a new pressure range or EPR level, appear as dated markers along the timeline. So do gear changes you log: a new mask, a new cushion size or a new machine. When a run of nights changes color, you can see what changed just before it.

05

Filters

Narrow History to the nights you care about:

  • Date range — any start and end date
  • AHI band — show only Moderate and High nights, for example
  • Mask — compare nights on one mask against another (uses the masks you log in Gear)
  • Machine — useful if you have a home and a travel machine

Filters apply to the calendar, the streak counts and the list underneath.

06

The night drawer

Tap any night and a drawer opens with its figures: AHI and event composition, usage hours, leak P95, pressure P95 against your set range, and event counts. On Pro, the drawer links to that night's waveforms: airflow, pressure, leak and event strips you can zoom into.

07

Compare periods and export

Pick two date ranges, such as the month before and the month after a pressure change, and History sets them side by side: average AHI, usage, share of 4-hour nights, leak P95 and pressure P95. When you want the numbers elsewhere, export your history as a file. Data export is included on every plan.

Free vs Pro

History is part of every plan. Free shows your last 30 nights in the calendar, streaks, filters and night drawer. Pro opens your full history back to your first upload, which is where milestones like 100 nights and one year live, and adds per-night waveforms from the drawer. Pro is $8.99 a month or $99.99 a year and covers every login on the account. See pricing.

FAQ

FAQ

How far back does my CPAP history go?

As far back as the nights you have uploaded. Your machine's SD card holds its own record, and Apnealytics keeps every night you import, even after the card is overwritten or replaced. On Free you see the most recent 30 nights; Pro shows your full history, including nights from earlier uploads.

What counts toward a streak?

Any night with 4 hours or more of therapy on the machine's sleep day. That matches the common insurance definition of a compliant night. A night under 4 hours, or a night without therapy, ends the current streak. Your best streak is kept separately and never resets.

Why is a night missing from my calendar?

Usually the machine did not record it, the card was out of the machine that night, or the latest nights have not been uploaded yet. Upload the card again; only new nights are added. If a night you know you used is still missing, see no data for last night.

Can I see nights from more than one machine?

Yes. History shows nights from every machine on your account, and the Machine filter separates them. Tracking more than one machine, along with full gear history, is part of Pro. On Free, History shows the last 30 nights from your machine.

Is History the same as Trends?

They share the same data but answer different questions. Trends draws charts of AHI, usage, leak and pressure over time so you can see direction. History is a night-by-night record with a calendar, streaks, milestones and a timeline of changes, built for finding specific nights.

Every night, kept and easy to find.

Upload your SD card and History fills in from your first night on the card.
