FEEDBACK

Send feedback or share sample data

Tell us what is broken, what is missing or what looks wrong, and a person on the Apnealytics team will read it. If your machine is not fully supported yet, a copy of its SD card data is the most useful thing you can send.

  • A bug

Something did not load, crashed or behaved differently from what you expected.

  • A feature request

    Something you wish Apnealytics did.

  • Machine support or sample data

Your machine has partial support or is on the waitlist, or a newer firmware is not reading correctly. Sample files let us build and test the parser against real data.

  • Numbers that look wrong

An AHI, usage or leak figure that does not match your machine's screen or another tool.

  • Billing or account questions

Plans, renewals, comp codes or sign-in trouble.

  • Anything else

    Praise is welcome too.

    SHARING SAMPLE DATA

Sample data turns a waitlist machine into a supported one

When a machine is on the waitlist or only partly supported, real files are what turn it into a supported one. Here is what helps and how we handle it.

    • What to uploadResMed: the whole SD card folder, zipped. That includes STR.edf, the DATALOG folder and the Identification files. Philips, Fisher & Paykel, Löwenstein / DeVilbiss and others: the whole card folder as the machine wrote it, zipped, without renaming anything. Oximeters: the CSV or EDF export from the device or its app. Screenshots: PNG or JPG of the machine screen or the manufacturer's app for the same night. These let us check our numbers against theirs. You can also drag a folder straight in; the uploader sends files exactly as they are. Uploads are resumable, with a limit of 2 GB per upload.
    • Where it goesSample data goes to a private, access-restricted storage bucket that is separate from user accounts. It is not attached to your Apnealytics profile and does not appear in your dashboard. Only the engineers working on parsers can open it, and only to build or fix support for your device.
    • Removing identifiersIf you prefer, remove your name and serial number before you upload. On ResMed cards, the Identification.tgt or Identification.json file contains the machine's serial number. You can delete it or replace the serial with zeros; most parsing work does not need it. If we do need it, we will ask.
    • How long we keep itWe delete sample data within 90 days of the fix or new support shipping. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time: reply to your confirmation email or write to info@apnealytics.com with your reference number.
    BUG REPORTS

What makes a great bug report

    • StepsWhat you clicked or tapped, in order.
    • Expected versus actualWhat you thought would happen, and what did.
    • A screenshotOne image often saves several emails.
    • The night's dateIf the report is about a specific night, include it, plus the figure your machine showed.
    • WhereWeb, iPhone, iPad or Android, and the app version.
    AFTER YOU SEND

    A person reads every message

You get a confirmation email with a reference number right away. A member of the team reads every message and replies within 2 business days when you have asked for a reply. For machine support requests, we will tell you whether your files were readable and where your machine sits on our list. We cannot promise a date for new machine support, but sample data moves it forward.

Please keep sensitive medical details out of the message box: diagnoses, medications and other health conditions are not needed to fix software. Your therapy numbers are fine to mention. Read more in privacy and security.

    FAQ

    FAQ

Do I need an account to send feedback?

No. Anyone can use the form. If you are signed in, your email and app version are filled in for you, which makes it easier to match your report to what you are seeing. Without an account, add an email address if you want a reply; without one we can read your message but cannot answer it.

Will sharing sample data add my nights to my account?

No. Sample data is stored separately from user accounts and never appears in your dashboard or history. To see your own nights in Apnealytics, import your card through the web portal as usual. See SD card import for how that works.

Is it safe to send my SD card files?

Files go to a private, access-restricted bucket used only for parser work, and are deleted after the fix ships or when you ask. You can remove the Identification file first to strip the machine serial. Avoid writing personal medical details in the message box; they are not needed.

My numbers look different from my machine's screen. Is that a bug?

Sometimes. Small differences can come from how a night is defined (noon to noon) or from rounding. A large difference, or a night that is missing, is worth reporting. Send the night's date, a photo of the machine's screen and a screenshot of Apnealytics, and we will compare them.

How do I ask for my machine to be supported?

Choose "Add support for my machine / share sample data", enter the exact model, and upload a zipped copy of the card folder if you can. Requests with sample files move fastest. You can check the current status of each machine on works with.

    Your machine on the waitlist?

Check what Apnealytics reads today, and send a card sample to move it up the list.
