KNOWLEDGE HUB

Learn: your CPAP data, explained in plain English

Your machine records a lot every night. This is where we explain what each number means, where it comes from, and what is worth raising with your clinician. Evergreen, no jargon, no sales pitch.

HOW TO USE THIS HUB

How to use this hub

Every guide here follows the same shape. It tells you what the metric is, how your ResMed machine measures it, what the widely accepted definitions say, and how it looks inside Apnealytics. Each one ends with a short FAQ and links to the product features and machine pages that touch the same number.

Start with the basics if you are new to therapy. If you have been reading your data for a while, jump to the advanced pages on flow limitation, central events and waveforms. Nothing here is medical advice; the goal is to make your conversation with your clinician sharper, not to replace it.

IN THE APP

Every metric here maps to a place on your dashboard.

Every metric in these guides maps to somewhere on your dashboard: last-night AHI with its band, usage hours, leak P95, pressure P95 against your set range, EPR, respiratory rate and event composition. Trends shows them over 30 nights, 90 nights, a year or all time. Pro adds the breath-by-breath viewer for the raw traces and the oxygen overlay for oximeter data. All of it starts with your SD card.

The Apnealytics dashboard on the web

A note on sources: severity bands and the hypopnea scoring rule come from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The 4-hour/70% adherence rule comes from US Medicare coverage policy, which most private insurers mirror. Device-specific thresholds come from the manufacturer's own documentation. If you spot an error, tell us at info@apnealytics.com.
