CANNOT BE READ

AirMini data in Apnealytics

Not yet — and not by any tool. The ResMed AirMini has no SD card and no data export, so there is no file for Apnealytics, OSCAR or SleepHQ to read. The only place AirMini data appears is ResMed's own AirMini app, which shows a sleep score and a short summary. This page explains why, and what you can still do with Apnealytics if the AirMini is your travel machine or your only machine.

Why nobody can read the AirMini

Every supported machine on this site stores its therapy record on a removable SD card as EDF files. The AirMini has no card slot. It keeps a rolling summary in internal memory and sends that summary over Bluetooth to the AirMini app, using a protocol that ResMed has not opened to third parties. The app itself has no export button.

So the facts are:

  • No card. There is nothing to remove and plug into a computer.
  • No open Bluetooth protocol. The AirMini pairs only with ResMed's app.
  • No export from the app. The AirMini app shows a score, usage hours, seal, events per hour and mask on/off counts, with no way to save them as a file.
  • No high-resolution data at all. Even ResMed's app does not show waveforms or pressure percentiles from the AirMini.

OSCAR's documentation lists the AirMini as unsupported for the same reason, and SleepHQ states the same. We could list the AirMini as "coming soon" and collect sign-ups, but that would not be honest. Unless ResMed adds a card, an export or an open API, it cannot be read.

Explainer: real AirMini cut-out, a crossed-out SD card, a dashed path to Bluetooth and ResMed's app ending at a coral stop bar labelled Dead end, with dashed boxes: no SD card slot, no export or API, no waveforms anywhere

What you can still do

  • Track vitals around your travel nights

If you wear an Apple Watch or an Android wearable, Apnealytics syncs daily resting heart rate, HRV, SpO₂ average and low, sleep hours and weight from Apple Health or Health Connect. On nights you used the AirMini, those vitals still show up in your Vitals tiles and trends. See Apple Watch and Apple Health.

  • Keep a journal

The trigger journal in Nights lets you log a note on any date: travel, alcohol, a cold, a different pillow. If you alternate between an AirMini and a card-based ResMed, your journal entries on AirMini nights give your clinician context, even without machine data.

  • Add an oximeter

A Wellue O2Ring or CMS50-family oximeter records SpO₂ and pulse independently of the machine. On Pro, Apnealytics imports its CSV export and calculates ODI₃, ODI₄ and T90 for the night. It is not a substitute for machine data, but it is a real record of how your nights went. See oximeters.

  • Keep your main machine's history complete

Most AirMini owners also have an AirSense or AirCurve at home. The Pro plan supports multiple machines and full gear history, so travel nights appear as gaps on your home machine's record with a note, and the AirMini sits in your gear with its own cushion and HumidX replacement reminders.

  • Use myAir and the AirMini app for what they do

The AirMini app's score is still useful as a daily check. Apnealytics does not read it, but nothing stops you from running both.

The waitlist

If ResMed ever opens AirMini data, we want to know you are waiting. Join the AirMini waitlist on the compatibility checker. We will email you only if something changes. We will not send "coming soon" updates for a machine that has not changed.

Status card: Cannot be read badge, ResMed AirMini, no SD card and no export, no third-party tool can read it

Compatible masks

The AirMini uses a proprietary slim tube and connector, so it needs AirMini-specific versions of ResMed masks. Mask Analytics still tracks them in your gear, including replacement reminders:

  • Nasal

AirFit N20 for AirMini, AirFit N30 for AirMini

  • Full face

AirFit F20 for AirMini, AirFit F30 for AirMini

  • Nasal pillows

    AirFit P10 for AirMini

Three cards with real mask cut-outs on teal blobs: Nasal (AirFit N20 for AirMini · AirFit N30 for AirMini), shown AirFit N30i; Full face (AirFit F20 for AirMini · AirFit F30 for AirMini), shown AirFit F30i; Nasal pillows (AirFit P10 for AirMini), shown AirFit P30i; footer notes the for-AirMini versions and HumidX

Seal and AHI per mask cannot be computed without machine data, so for the AirMini the mask entry is a record, not analytics.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Can Apnealytics read ResMed AirMini data?

No, and neither can OSCAR, SleepHQ or any other third-party tool. The AirMini has no SD card, its Bluetooth protocol is closed and the AirMini app has no export. Apnealytics can still track your vitals, journal and oximeter on AirMini nights, and keep your home machine's history complete.

Does the AirMini have an SD card slot?

No. It is the one ResMed machine without one. All therapy data stays in internal memory and is summarised to the AirMini app over Bluetooth. If you want detailed data when travelling, the AirSense 11 is the smallest ResMed machine with a card, though it is considerably larger than the AirMini.

Can I export from the AirMini app?

No. The app shows a 0–100 score, usage, mask seal, events per hour and mask on/off counts, and offers no file export or sharing to other apps. Screenshots are the only way to keep a record, and Apnealytics does not read screenshots.

Will Apnealytics ever support the AirMini?

Only if ResMed adds a card, an export or an open API. We do not have a parser in development because there is nothing to parse. The waitlist exists so we can tell you the day that changes. We will not call it "coming soon" before then.

What should I use for travel if I want data?

If detailed data matters to you, talk to your clinician and equipment supplier about a card-based machine. The AirSense 11 and AirSense 10 are both supported. Other travel machines such as the Transcend Micro are on our waitlist but not supported today.
