AirCurve 11 VAuto data in Apnealytics

Yes — full support. The AirCurve 11 VAuto is ResMed's current bilevel machine. It pairs the AirSense 11 touchscreen body with the VAuto algorithm, and it writes the same STR.edf and DATALOG files to its SD card. Apnealytics reads your AirCurve 11 VAuto data in full: IPAP and EPAP, pressure support, events, leak, usage, trends and, on Pro, breath-by-breath waveforms.

AirCurve 11 VAuto at a glance

Because ResMed kept the card format stable across the 10 and 11 generations, the AirCurve 11 worked in Apnealytics without a parser change.

Where the SD card is

The slot is on the side of the machine behind a small rubber flap, in the same place as on the AirSense 11. Turn the machine off from the touchscreen, wait for the SD icon to go steady, lift the flap and press the card to release it.

  1. Turn the AirCurve 11 off and remove the SD card.

  2. Insert it into a reader on your computer

Card import is web-only today; the phone apps display results but do not read the card.

  3. Sign in at my.apnealytics.com and open Import.

  4. Drag the card's folder onto the drop zone

Apnealytics locates STR.edf and DATALOG, and the files go directly to private storage on Cloudflare R2 with a resumable upload.

  5. Return the card when the night count settles

Future imports add only new nights.

What you'll see

  • Two pressure traces, one range

Each night shows EPAP and IPAP percentiles with the pressure support between them, plotted against the EPAP range your clinician set. You can see how often VAuto reaches the top of its range and whether pressure support stayed where it was set.

  • Event composition and central trend

Obstructive, central, hypopnea and unclassified events are shown separately. The 30-night rolling AHI on the dashboard, and the central-only trend in Trends, show whether a settings change moved anything.

  • Leak P95, respiratory rate and Mask Analytics

Bilevel pressure support makes mouth leak more likely, so leak P95 earns its place beside usage on every night. Mask Analytics compares seal, AHI and usage per mask. On Pro, the waveform viewer overlays airflow with both pressure traces.

Known quirks

  • Over-the-air firmware. The AirCurve 11 updates firmware via its modem. The card still writes normally afterwards; a settings-change marker may appear on the first night.

  • Bluetooth is for myAir only. The AirCurve 11's Bluetooth pairs with myAir for setup and a score. It does not export therapy data to other apps, so the SD card remains the only complete source.

  • Replacement cards. Use a FAT32-formatted card. Large exFAT cards are not written by the machine.

  • Detailed-data retention. DATALOG high-resolution data is kept for a limited window, roughly 30 days by default. Import monthly for complete waveform coverage.

  • New model, growing catalog. Because the AirCurve 11 is recent, a few third-party accessories may not yet be in the gear catalog. You can add your own device photos and request an entry at info@apnealytics.com.

Compatible masks

The AirCurve 11 uses the standard 22 mm connection and accepts any ResMed mask:

  • Full face

    AirFit F20, AirFit F30i

  • Nasal

    AirFit N20, AirFit N30i

  • Nasal pillows

    AirFit P10, AirFit P30i

Three cards with real mask cut-outs on teal blobs: Full face (AirFit F20 · AirFit F30i), shown AirFit F30i; Nasal (AirFit N20 · AirFit N30i), shown AirFit N30i; Nasal pillows (AirFit P10 · AirFit P30i), shown AirFit P30i; footer: 22 mm tube, Mask Analytics per mask, replacement reminders

Set the mask type on the touchscreen to match your mask so leak is reported correctly.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Is the AirCurve 11 VAuto supported in Apnealytics?

Yes, fully. It writes STR.edf and a DATALOG folder like every other ResMed card machine, with the bilevel pressure channels included. Import the SD card on the web portal to see IPAP and EPAP percentiles, pressure support, event mix, leak, usage, respiratory rate, trends and Pro waveforms.

How is the AirCurve 11 different from the AirCurve 10 in my data?

The therapy data is the same. The AirCurve 11 adds Bluetooth, a touchscreen and over-the-air updates, none of which change the card. If you upgraded from a 10, keep both machines in your gear and Pro will show a continuous history across them.

Can I see AirCurve 11 data on my phone?

Yes, after importing on the web. Card import is web-only today, but everything you import appears in the iPhone and Android apps, including per-night waveforms on Pro, parsed on the phone. The apps also sync Apple Health or Health Connect vitals beside your therapy.

Does Apnealytics tell me what pressure support I should use?

No. Apnealytics shows you what the machine did and how your numbers responded, and the "What changed?" panel lines up settings changes with trend changes. Decisions about pressure, pressure support and mode belong with your clinician, and the doctor-ready PDF on Pro is built for that conversation.

What if my AirCurve 11 is the S or ST model?

Same card, same support. Modes are labelled per night and the charts adapt. If you see anything that looks wrong for your model, email info@apnealytics.com with the model and a description and we will review the parser.
